How does it work?

TLDR: Candidates record answers to common questions based on their field of work. You review them at your convenience. All asynchronously.

There is a pool of candidates that already answered 99% of questions used during intro calls. They recorded their answers in front of a camera, no filters, no editing, no bullshit. Just as they would during an intro call. But you don't have to schedule anything. Free your calendar for serious candidates. You can review them at your convenience, even on the go.

What about AI?

You're absolutely right. AI is not a buzz word here. We use it mainly for transcriptions and "evaluations/hints". All transparent: both you and candidates can see it. Nontheless, "evaluations/hints" are biased and should be used with cautions. It's a great tool, but hiring decisions should be made by humans. Period.

Another tool we're working on is MCP and it will allow you to streamline your workflow even more.

What if there is a small number of candidates?

We've just started and not known (yet). But you still can drop an invite to candidates and get notified when they join and answers the questions.

How can I invite candidates?

If you know their email, just go to invites page and click on the new invite button and paste their email.

Or you can drop them a message with your referral link. Your link is in settings page.

What if I need different questions?

You can create your own questions and use them for an interview.

How do I interview a candidate?

Simple (untrackable) way is to check list of candidates and review their videos.

Another way, more organized, is to create a job position and assign an async interview to selected candidates. But you don't need a position at all - just select questions when assigning an interview.

What is a promo video?

That's a good way to showcase your company or team or tell about job position. Once published, they become indexable by search engines and ready to be shared on social media, job boards, etc.

How does the async interview process work?

Linatora is your platform to introduce yourself to potential employers. After you sign up and fill in your profile, you can start recording your answers to common questions. You can have up to 3 attempts to record your answers per each question included.

Once you're done, you can review your answers and see how you performed. You can also see the feedback from the AI and improve your answers.

You can also use our platform to record promo videos for your portfolio. This will help you stand out from the crowd and get more attention from potential employers.

How do I connect with recruiters?

There are 3 main ways to connect with recruiters:

  1. You can proactively send them an invite if you know their email.
  2. You can share your referral link with them.
  3. They can find you if your profile is public. Or they can see your promo videos if you've published them.

Is this free?

Yes, but with limits. You'll be given 3 attempts to record your answers per each question. This includes hints provided by AI. Also, you can record up to 3 promo videos for your portfolio. If you need more, you can top up your credits.

How do I extend limits?

You can have additional attempts or promo videos by topping up your credits. You can get more credits by referring new users.

Is this only for software engineers?

No. It's for anyone who got sick of answering the same questions over and over again via video calls. Nowadays, there are many other proffessions that require communication and presentation skills.
