Why Ruby on Rails? It’s dead!
Rails is "dead" the same way PostgreSQL is "old" — it just works, and it's still unmatched. Here's my take.

Why did I decide to use Ruby on Rails for Lina Tora? The answer is pretty simple for me, and this is because of the developer experience. Overall, in Ruby on Rails, they have everything there. They have great community, big ecosystem, and most importantly, by default, out of the box, you have so many good components, bare minimum needed for full functioning application. For example, it has ORM, like active records. It has migrations, it has a good generator script. It has also MVC structure, background job, what is also very important for Lina Tora. It has active storage, which is handling attachments, video uploads, and everything related to files and storage really nicely. It has also its own mailer. They don't need to think about how to compose emails and so on, like transactional emails. And so far, I didn't find anything close to Ruby on Rails in JavaScript world. Maybe remixes close enough, but it's still behind Ruby on Rails. And despite some saying that Ruby on Rails is dead, it's not true. It has new versions, and it's very powerful. This is what I like, and it's enough to use.
